Carrot potato cakes

Peel the potatoes (you need less than you think);

cut the potatoes;

peel the carrot(s);

cut the carrot;

put it all in the water, heat it up; salt the water;

let it cook untill the potatoes are soft (depends on how small you cut them);

drain;

mash them;

mix flour and an egg with the potatoes and carrots; fry in little oil. If you added too much of an egg, mix in some breadcrumbs.
